Wild Atlantic Way, Day Ten:
Today we woke up to a windy but sunny Inch beach. We had breakfast and Nathan gave himself a haircut, and I had to step in to trim the bits he couldn’t reach. At around 11:30 AM we went down to the beach to go surfing. We brought a camera and keys and left them in a waterproof bag which we padlocked and put a luminous vest over to make it easy to spot from the water, and we left it on the beach above the tide line. The water was quite choppy and it took a few attempts to get up on the board, but we both caught some nice waves and we surfed for about two hours. We soon started to get hungry, so we decided it was time for food. We went back to the van, took our wet suits off and hung them up to dry and went to the beach takeaway to get some chips. The sun came out soon after this so we decided to stay for a while and let our stuff dry off. A while later we hopped in the van and drove to Dingle town. There was so much life about the place and it was bustling with tourists! We were very hungry so we got the ‘best fish and chips in all of Ireland,’ and after dinner we decided we would go to go to a campsite so we could shower and do our laundry, so we drove to one just outside of Dingle. While doing the laundry I accidentally opened the door and nearly flooded the whole building! More rain leaked in the back door during the night and Nathan got wet feet.. again!
