Wild Atlantic Way, Day Fourteen:

Today we woke up in Galway and moved the Van out of Harbour Street and around to Salthill, where there was free parking. Nathan was almost out of coffee, so we jumped on our skateboards and skated back into town to see if we could find some. We went to a shop called ‘coffeewerk and press’ which had a good selection of speciality coffees. Nathan picked one he liked the look of and they ground it for him to use in his aero press. We then went on a search of breakfast. A café called ‘Ard Bia At Nimmos’ had been recommended to us, so we went there and had a really tasty breakfast, which consisted of avocado on toast with pesto, seeds, salad and a vegan fry which we shared. We skated back to the van, and just as we arrived the rain started, and ended up staying for most of the day. It was now around 12, so we started driving north towards Clifden. We took the coastal route, which ended up being a pretty long drive. We stopped in Clifden for a toilet break and got a snack to keep us going before driving the rest of the way to the campsite. When we arrived we made dinner and had two free showers. The campsite was situated about a three minute drive outside of Clifden town, and it costs €24 for the night.
